Earth was one of the founding members of the Federation in 2161 after it was victorious in the Romulan War. Earth became one of the Federation's most important worlds, so much so that some Klingons claim that the Federation is known throughout the galaxy as a "Homo Sapiens-only club".

Solarion IV is the fourth planet in the Solarion system, where a Federation colony was located. In 2368, the colony on Solarion IV was attacked and destroyed by an unidentified vessel. Later the planet was used to be a smugglercamp and illegal tradingplace

Betazed
Betazed is the home of the telepathic Betazoid race. Known for it's beautiful scenary and it's exotic array of plants and animals, it proves to be a good place for scientists to study, and for off-duty officers to explore. Betazed also has a wide variety of mental and physical specialty hospitals, and the personel who are employed at these hospitals are known to be the best in the quadrant.
